Current Project Status: Phase 4 begins Nov. 18
Phase 4 of construction is set to begin Monday, Nov. 18. View detour maps and more information in the accordion below.
Project Overview
Plymouth Boulevard is set to undergo major improvements between Highway 55 and Rockford Road (County Road 9) beginning in May.
The project will add roundabouts to slow vehicle traffic, improve crossings for pedestrian safety, upgrade trail connectivity and more.
Construction is set to wrap up in late fall of 2024. Landscaping and other final items will be completed in 2025.
Plymouth Boulevard improvements are part of the City of Plymouth's overall, long-term plan to revitalize Plymouth City Center and cultivate a vibrant, walkable downtown area.
- Project phasing and detour information: Construction will be completed in phases to maintain access to area businesses and destinations (motorists may be required to take detoured routes). View phasing/detour information below. Timing is subject to change due to construction activities and weather.
- Access to City Hall for early voting: City Hall will remain accessible via Plymouth Boulevard with some detours throughout all phases of construction.
The city appreciates the patience of area residents, businesses and motorists during construction.
