Search for a Class or Activity

Once you're logged in, select search to look for classes by keyword or activity number listed in the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Guide (use first 5 digits only). Virtual and in-person classes and activities are available. 

Add Your Name to the Waitlist

If a class is full, add your name to the waitlist. Plymouth Parks and Recreation frequently adds classes or instructors to accommodate high demand programs.

A limited amount of program assistance is available for those who qualify. The program assistance application and qualifying documentation can be emailed to recreation@plymouthmn.gov. Call the Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department at 763-509-5200 with questions.

Cancellations

Class transfer requests and withdrawal/refund requests must be made no less than one full week prior to the first class, unless otherwise noted in the Activity Guide. A $5 service fee is retained on each withdrawal/refund request, unless otherwise noted in the Activity Guide.

Inclement Weather

In the event of inclement weather, recreation activities, programs, and events may be canceled. To check for cancellations, call the Plymouth Parks and Recreation weather hotline 763-509-5205.

Recreation programs held in a school will be canceled if that school closes. Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department does not post weather information for independent youth athletic associations. Parents must contact the individual association for its rain-out procedures.

The City of Plymouth has a public-private partnership with the Plymouth Life Time – which allows Plymouth residents to purchase daily passes for the pool and fitness area/club without the purchase of a Life Time membership.

A first-of-its-kind public-private collaboration that began in 1997 when the Plymouth Ice Center/Life Time (3600 Plymouth Blvd.,) facility opened, it has since served as a model for several other communities in the state and country. The City of Plymouth, Wayzata School District and Life Time joined forces to make this first-rate recreational complex a reality.

Purchasing a Daily Pass

Photo identification is required for persons age 18 and older who wish to purchase a daily pass.

Residents who bring children to the pool who are not their own must adhere to a 3-to-1 ratio of children to adults and must present an Assumption of Responsibility form signed by the children’s parents. Forms are available at any Life Time.

Low Income Discounts

Residents of Plymouth who are low income may qualify for discount passes. Individuals may purchase eight discount daily passes per year from the city. Call 763-509-5200 for an application and details on eligibility.

About Plymouth Life Time

This 110,000-square foot pool and club, adjacent to the Plymouth Ice Center, is privately owned and operated by Plymouth Life Time. It includes an indoor eight-lane competition pool, diving well, indoor leisure pool with waterslide and an outdoor leisure pool with two large water slides. In addition, it also features two gyms, studio classes, aerobics room, and 160 pieces of cardiovascular equipment and 120 resistance-training machines.
