Background
The City of Plymouth partnered with Carbon Solutions Group in 2021 to implement the EV charging network in Plymouth. Installation of the equipment has been rolled out in a phased approach, and was slowed due to material shortages and shipping delays.
As part of the agreement, Carbon Solutions Group funds capital and operational costs for the EV charging stations at no cost to Plymouth taxpayers. Users pay a fee to utilize the charging stations.
