Curbside Recycling
The Recycling Drop-Off Site is not open to the general public. The site is only for Plymouth residents and small businesses located in Plymouth. The Recycling Drop-Off Site accepts recyclable materials only – trash, carpet, furniture and bulky items are illegal to leave at the site.

Organics
Plymouth residents also have the option of dropping off organics at the Recycling Drop-Off Site adjacent to the Plymouth Maintenance Facility, 14900 23rd Ave. N. The site is open daily and is accessible to Plymouth residents. View more information.
Unused Driveway and Sidewalk Salt - Seasonal
Residents may recycle unused winter deicing salt beginning Monday, Feb. 26 through Monday, July 1 by dropping it off in the marked bins at the Plymouth Maintenance Facility, 14900 23rd Ave. N. Collection bins specifically designated for salt are located near the Recycling Drop-Off site at the facility.
Residents should recycle unused salt only, making sure to remove the salt from bags, buckets or other containers. All salt collected will be reused by the City of Plymouth during future winters. Water softener salt, pellets or other types of salt are not accepted.
Yard Waste
The Plymouth Yard Waste Site is available to residents of Plymouth, Medicine Lake, Wayzata and Long Lake at no charge. The Yard Waste Site is located at the Plymouth Maintenance Facility campus, 14900 23rd Avenue North. View more information.
Used Oil
A free, 24-hour drop-off site for used motor oil, antifreeze and oil filters is available at the Plymouth Maintenance Facility, 14900 23rd Ave. N., Plymouth, MN 55447. The drop-off container is located on the west side of the building, adjacent to the fuel pumps.
Please do not leave empty containers. Read and follow all posted instructions at the site to prevent contamination.
The city provides the site with 24-hour access, and East Side Oil Company provides the container and transportation for the used oil. East Side Oil also provides the reprocessing that turns a waste product into fuel for heaters and asphalt plants.
