Project Overview

The City of Plymouth is proposing to implement drainage improvements within the Chelsea Woods neighborhood to address flooding concerns, improve the ability to maintain drainage, and improve water quality in Gleason Lake. 

This project includes maintenance of storm sewer pipes, replacement of damaged outlet structures, erosion and ditch maintenance, sediment removal, and localized drainage improvements. It is anticipated that some tree removals will be necessary and trails in the area may be temporarily closed during construction.  

Anticipated Schedule

• Neighborhood Open House #1: 
  March 29, 2022
• Neighborhood Open House #2: 
  July 19, 2022
• Neighborhood Open House #3:
  October 5, 2023, 5:00 p.m.

• Construction:  February - April 2024
