Bass Lake Estates/Pike Creek Drainage Improvement Project

Project Update
Construction is anticipated to start the week of November 21st, 2022. The contractor will begin work on the east side of Hemlock Lane N. and work towards Northwest Boulevard before working near Pike Lake. Construction is anticipated to be completed by the end of February 2023.
Project Overview
The City of Plymouth is working with the Shingle Creek Watershed Management Organization and the City of Maple Grove to improve water quality and drainage within the Bass Lake Estates/Pike Creek neighborhood. This project is located north of 61st Avenue from Northwest Boulevard to Hemlock Lane and from Deerwood Circle North to Pike Lake. The project site scope is proposed to include stream erosion improvements, bank slope grading and minor dredging of accumulated sediment in certain areas. The project would improve drainage in the area, reduce erosion in the stream/channels and improve water quality in Pike Lake.
Anticipated Schedule
- Construction: December 2022. Notification will be sent to homeowners adjacent to the project area prior to the start of work.
- Neighborhood Meeting:
August 24, 2022, 5 - 6 p.m.
Council Chambers, City Hall
3400 Plymouth Blvd - Restoration anticipated for April and May 2023.
