Nathan Area Pavement Rehabilitation
Project Update
Construction of this project has been substantially completed. The contractor will return in the spring/summer of 2024 to take care of remaining minor work items.

Project Overview
Improvements with this proposed project are the rehabilitation of streets via reclamation. Reclamation improvements involve completely removing (reclaiming) the existing pavement and paving a new roadway surface.
Included with this project is the realignment of the intersection of Nathan Lane and 56th Avenue and the intersection of 54th Avenue and Highway 169 Service Road to encourage commercial traffic in the area to use the Highway 169 Service Road versus roadways with residential housing.
Preventative maintenance will also be performed with the project, which includes:
- Installation of concrete pedestrian ramps, as necessary, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Replacement of concrete curb and gutter where the curb and gutter are in poor condition
- Trail replacement
- Repairs to water main valves
- Repairs to storm sewer catch basins
- Repairs to sanitary sewer manholes
