The Plymouth Police Department, established in 1958, enforces federal and state laws, as well as city ordinances, including those related to animals, noise, nuisances and alarm systems. In addition to coordinating a variety of crime prevention programs for residents, businesses and schools, Plymouth Police respond to traffic crashes, medical situations and other emergency service calls.
