The Plymouth Police are committed to providing the highest level of protection and service to all who live in, work in and visit our community. To accomplish this, we need the assistance of our citizens. How can you help? Be informed, be aware and call the police to report suspicious activity.

Crime MapIn this section of the website, we provide tools to help you become more informed and to help you get information and feedback to the police to help us solve crimes.

One of the ways we provide information is through our web crime mapTo provide specific information about crime in our community, the police have partnered with BAIR Analytics. The RAIDS (Regional Analysis and Information Data Sharing) Online crime map displays the following five crimes types on the Plymouth map: burglary-commercial; burglary-residential; motor vehicle theft; burglary from motor vehicle; and vandalism. To obtain details about a specific crime (i.e. case number, location, date and time), click on the event icon.

If you have questions about an incident in Plymouth, contact Public Information Officer Karen Anderson at 763-509-5163 or kanderson@plymouthmn.gov. If she is not available, you can also call the department’s main number at 763-509-5160 to be directed you to someone who can help you.

Crime Tips

If you see a crime in progress or need a police response for any reason, please call 9-1-1 immediately. If you wish to remain anonymous, be sure and tell the dispatcher. When calling, remember to give as much information as possible, including what is happening and where. Also, get as much of a description of the suspects and vehicles involved as possible.

If you have information on a past crime that might help police solve the crime (such as the name of a suspect, a license plate of a suspect's vehicle, the location of a suspect, etc.), you can call the Crime Tip Line at 763-509-5177. (Note: The crime tip line is not for in progress or time sensitive calls. For crimes in progress, driving or parking complaints, or other incidents needing a police response, please call 9-1-1 only.)

The Plymouth Public Safety Department is also a member of the National Crime Stoppers Program. You may also call their tip line number at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or text TIP674 to 294637 (crimes).
