The Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department offers extensive recreation programming (in-person and virtual offerings), well-used and maintained facilities, beautiful parks, and a great trail system including:

• 67 developed parks, totaling over 1,827 acres                
• 182 mile network of city, state and regional trails
• 6 special use facilities
• 8 playfields
• 3 public beaches

Tobacco Use Policy

The City of Plymouth has adopted a tobacco-free policy for parks and recreation facilities. To help promote healthy lifestyles and set a good example for the community's youth, the city asks for your voluntary compliance. Tobacco and electronic tobacco products are not allowed in the following city-owned areas, except within the confines of a vehicle that is in a designated parking space:

• Park land
• Parks and Recreation facilities  
• Open space
• Joint city/school district properties
