Access to Hilde Performance Center detoured due to Plymouth Boulevard construction
Plymouth Boulevard is currently undergoing major improvements between Highway 55 and Rockford Road (County Road 9). The Hilde Performance Center will remain accessible to residents and visitors throughout construction, but attendees may be required to take detoured routes.

The iconic Hilde Performance Center is one of Plymouth's defining landmarks. The 45-foot tall open-air facility is built for excellent acoustics in an outdoor setting. A glass wall in the back of the bandshell allows the audience to view the natural beauty of Plymouth's wetlands beyond the stage.
Designed by the architects who created the Lake Harriet Band Shell in Minneapolis, the Hilde features the acclaimed Minnesota Orchestra each summer at Music in Plymouth.
A Place for Live Music
The bandshell is home to the Live at the Hilde concert series, which is presented by independent concert promotions company Sue McLean & Associates. Live at the Hilde has featured Rock and Roll Hall of Famers, local music legends, upcoming superstars and more at multiple shows during the summer.
The facility also hosts a wide variety of community events, such as Kids Fest, Bark in the Park, Movies in the Park, Zoomobile visits, musicians, car shows, magicians and more – drawing tens of thousands to the Hilde each year. See more with our Entertainment in the Parks schedule.
The Hilde Performance Center was made possible through a $1 million donation by former Mayor Al Hilde, Jr. and his wife, Jayne. Hilde was Plymouth's mayor from 1968-1978.
