The Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) provides funding through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program to a variety of non-profit social service agencies working in our community. The HRA is currently working with the programs listed below.

  • Hammer Residences, Inc
Hammer Residences provides residential support through affordable housing and in-home care to adults with developmental disabilities. These individuals live in group homes or apartments that provide accessibility, security and safety.
  • HOME Line
HOME Line assists Plymouth households through its tenant hotline, tenant representation in landlord/tenant negotiations and tenant organizing to preserve affordable housing.
  • Homes Within Reach (HWR)
HWR, doing business as the West Hennepin Affordable Housing Land Trust, helps families become homeowners by acquiring, remodeling and selling properties through their Community Land Trust (CLT). Families purchase the home and lease the land for a nominal fee, which reduces the mortgage, down payment and closing costs.
  • Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners (IOCP)
IOCP's Project Success helps homeless and imminently homeless families achieve housing stability. This is accomplished through rent support, emergency assistance, case management and employment services.
  • Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS)
LSS provides homeownership counseling such as first time homebuyer workshops, mortgage counseling, housing rehabilitation counseling, reverse mortgage counseling, and debt counseling.
  • People Responding In Social Ministry (PRISM)
PRISM's Homelessness Prevention program provides assistance to families in financial crisis to help maintain stable housing. PRISM also provides wraparound services such as financial literacy education, counseling, and transportation.
  • Senior Community Services (SCS)
SCS assists seniors with outdoor maintenance (snow removal, lawn mowing, painting, etc.) through its Household and Outside Maintenance (HOME) program.
  • TreeHouse
TreeHouse offers services year-round without charge to participating households and youth. These services include weekly support groups and one-to-one mentoring relationships.
