Effective Friday, Oct. 18, Plymouth Boulevard will be closed between 32nd and 34th avenues (entrance to Plymouth City Hall) as the project enters Phase 3. Motorists will not be able to access Plymouth Boulevard from Highway 55 during this phase.
The northern stretch of Plymouth Boulevard will be open to traffic in both directions between 34th Avenue and Rockford Road, and all cross streets north of 34th Avenue will be open.
Access to City Hall and Area Destinations
Plymouth City Hall and other area businesses/destinations (Life Time, Plymouth Ice Center, Cub Foods, Mann Theatres, etc.) will be accessible from Vicksburg Lane or Rockford Road. Access to Plymouth City Hall for early voting continues to be available throughout the project.
Access to Plymouth Boulevard from Highway 55 will only be available for local residents who live in the adjacent neighborhood off 32nd Avenue.
Temporary Detour Near City Hall set for Oct. 22-24
Southbound Plymouth Boulevard from 34th to 35th avenues (near the Hilde/entrance to City Hall) will be temporarily detoured from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. daily Oct. 22-24. As a detour, motorists heading southbound on Plymouth Boulevard will turn right on 35th Avenue and left on 34th Avenue to access the roundabout on Plymouth Boulevard at the entrance to City Hall.
