The 2024 statewide primary election is set for Tuesday, Aug. 13. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. In the primary, Plymouth voters narrow the field of candidates for U.S. Senator. Top vote getters will move on to the Tuesday, Nov. 5 general election. Plymouth City Council seats will be on the November ballot, but are not included in the primary.

Absentee (Early) Voting Available
Residents who wish to vote early by absentee ballot can do so in person, by ballot dropoff or by mail.
The entire absentee balloting (early voting) process can be completed in person Friday, June 28 through Monday, Aug. 12 at Plymouth City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Blvd. To vote early in person, voters must fill out an application and will be issued a ballot on site.
Voters may also apply to receive a ballot through the mail and drop it off at Plymouth City Hall. Absentee (early voting) ballots must be received by 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13.
Vote by Direct Ballot
Direct balloting allows residents to vote in person via absentee ballot and place their ballots through a tabulator (just like on the day of the election). This process is available at Plymouth City Hall Friday, July 26 to Monday, Aug. 12.

Early voting hours at Plymouth City Hall are:
- Friday, June 28 through Friday, Aug. 9: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday
- Saturday, Aug. 10: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Monday, Aug. 12: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
