Plymouth Yard Waste Site set to open April 3

Man throwing leaves and brush into a pile at the Plymouth Yard Waste SiteThe Plymouth Yard Waste Site is set to open for the season at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 3. The site is next to the Plymouth Maintenance Facility, 14900 23rd Ave. N.

Plymouth Yard Waste Site will be open Wednesdays through Sundays throughout the season.

The site is closed Mondays and Tuesdays and for major holidays, including Easter, Independence Day and Thanksgiving. The site will also be closed Saturday, May 4 for the annual Drop-Off Day.

Hours of Operation

  • April: 3-6 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday-Sunday
  • May through August: 3-8 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday-Sunday
  • September through November: 3-6 p.m. Wednesday-Friday and 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday-Sunday

The site is available for Plymouth, Wayzata, Long Lake and Medicine Lake residents only – identification is required.

Residents may dispose of spring lawn rakings, leaves, vegetative garden waste and brush or tree waste. Materials that are not accepted include grass clippings, lumber, sod, soil and stumps.
