The Plymouth Senior Program will host the annual Pie Day fundraiser 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18 at the Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave. N.

Freshly baked apple, cherry, strawberry-rhubarb and cream pies will be sold for $5 per slice. Ice cream is also available.

The event will also feature a used book, movie and puzzle sale, as well as some items created by the Plymouth Handycrafters.

Money raised through the fundraiser will help support senior programs. It will fund supplies, equipment and guest speakers, as well as veteran and senior events and an annual party celebrating local seniors ages 90 and older.
