Curious little eyes and hands are invited to explore the world at the Kids’ Environmental Fair 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 12 at the Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave. N.
This free event will provide an opportunity for children to learn about the environment through personal encounters with raptors, birds, water bugs, bees and other Minnesota animals. Interactive take-home activities and a Naturalist Nook will also inspire children and teach them the importance of maintaining healthy habitats and clean water for insects and animals.
The Minnesota Zoomobile will give a presentation at 10 a.m. and the University of Minnesota Raptor Center, which will include a bald eagle, will present at noon. Watch the video on YouTube.
That same weekend, the Plymouth Creek Center will also host the annual Yard & Garden Expo. The expo will be held 6-9 p.m. Friday, April 11 and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, April 12.
