Tune in to the most recent issue of the Mayor's Minutes to watch Mayor Kelli Slavik discuss the following: 

  • The finalized budget, which was adopted by Plymouth City Council Dec. 10. More information. 
  • Fire & Ice Festival, which will be held 2-7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at Parkers Lake Park, off of County Road 6 and Niagara Lane. The event will include recycling bin races, a youth ice fishing contest, a goofy hat contest, a petting zoo, hayrides, pony and sled-dog rides, miniature golf on the ice, snow bowling, recreational skating and a bonfire with s’mores and hot chocolate. More information. 
  • The Medallion Hunt – The resident who discovers its location will be rewarded with a $250 Visa gift card. Clues will begin Jan. 9 in the Plymouth Sun Sailor and on the city’s website. More information.
  • Waffle Breakfast – Join us 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2 at the Plymouth Creek Center, 14800 34th Ave. Help raise funds for senior programming while enjoying breakfast hot off the griddle. Dad’s Belgian Waffle Company will cook all-you-can-eat, made-from-scratch waffles and serve them with a host of toppings, sausage, coffee and juice. Cost is $7 for ages 6 and older; $4, ages 5 and younger. Pay at the door. 
  • Skate with the Mayor – Held 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7 at Parkers Lake warming house, County Road 6 and Niagara Lane. Looking for free family fun on a Friday night or just want to meet Plymouth’s mayor? Bring a friend or the whole family to enjoy skating and conversation with Mayor Kelli Slavik. Enjoy tasty treats and warm fingers and toes by the fire.
