The city will accept discarded pumpkins, gourds and apples Nov. 1-17 at the Plymouth Maintenance Facility, 14900 23rd Ave. N. The Pumpkin Drop helps turn old holiday decorations into food for farm animals. Residents should look for a dumpster with a Pumpkin Drop sign on the west side of the Maintenance Facility. Residents are asked to remove candles from pumpkins to protect the animals.
