The City of Plymouth is set to host a Memorial Day Event 11 a.m. Friday, May 24 in the Council Chambers at Plymouth City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Blvd.
The public is invited to attend the annual event, which honors those who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. The event will be live streamed at CCXMedia.org.
The event includes a welcome from the mayor, the pledge of allegiance, an invocation, a musical performance and poetic reading, words to remember the families and honor the fallen, a benediction and a moment of silence.
The Plymouth Memorial Day Event is held in partnership with the City of Plymouth, Saluting America’s Veterans Enterprise (SAVE) and CCX Media.
Access to Hilde Performance Center detoured due to Plymouth Boulevard construction
Beginning in May: Plymouth Boulevard is set to undergo major improvements between Highway 55 and Rockford Road (County Road 9) beginning in May. City Hall and the Hilde Performance Center will remain accessible to residents and visitors throughout construction, but attendees may be required to take detoured routes.
