Plymouth’s signature summer event, Music in Plymouth, returns for the 52nd year Wednesday, July 10 at the Hilde Performance Center, 3500 Plymouth Blvd.
Presented by the Plymouth Civic League and City of Plymouth, the event begins at 5:30 p.m. and offers food, fun and entertainment – featuring a performance by the Minnesota Orchestra.
Music in Plymouth Lineup
Music in Plymouth begins with a welcome, followed by performances featuring Rock and Roll Playhouse and Jack Brass Band. Musicians, children’s activities and roving entertainers perform around the grounds of the Hilde throughout the evening.
After the opening lineup, the Minnesota Orchestra will perform classic and modern scores leading up to the grand finale – a spectacular fireworks display.
A variety of food trucks and concessions will be available, and attendees may bring picnic suppers.

Reserving Spots
Due to extensive underground wiring and sprinkling systems at the Hilde, staking and roping off seating areas is strictly prohibited. Those attending Music in Plymouth may not place blankets, chairs or tarps on the grounds until after 7 a.m. the morning of the event.
Free Shuttle Service
Shuttle service runs 5-11:30 p.m. July 10. Plymouth Metrolink will shuttle attendees to the event at no cost from two park-and-ride locations:
- Wayzata High School, 4955 Peony Lane N.
- Plymouth Metrolink Station 73, 10905 Highway 55
The shuttle will drop off and pick up attendees every 40 minutes on 34th Avenue (near the back lot of City Hall, across from the Post Office).

Can I bring food and beverages?
Yes, outside food and beverages are allowed. Food trucks and concessions are also available for purchase at the event (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available).
Where can I park?
Free event parking is available at the Plymouth Ice Center, Plymouth Community Center and along 34th Avenue N. Plymouth City Hall parking lots are reserved for accessible parking and vendors only. View the access map for events at the Hilde Performance Center.
Where will the shuttles drop people off at the Hilde?
The shuttle will drop off and pick up attendees every 40 minutes on 34th Avenue (near the back lot of City Hall, across from the Post Office).

Drivers dropping off attendees for Music in Plymouth may do so at the Life Time parking lot, 3600 Plymouth Blvd.

Access to Hilde Performance Center detoured due to Plymouth Boulevard construction
Plymouth Boulevard is undergoing major improvements between Highway 55 and Rockford Road (County Road 9). The Hilde Performance Center will remain accessible to residents and visitors throughout construction, but attendees may be required to take detoured routes.
