The City of Plymouth kicks off the free Summer Beach Series with the Beaches and Bonfires event, set for 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 23 at East Medicine Lake Park, 1740 East Medicine Lake Blvd.
Attendees may enjoy an evening at the beach, cozy up near bonfires and enjoy live music from Dred I Dread, a Minneapolis based Reggae Band featuring musicians from Jamaica, New Orleans, Minnesota and Turkey.
Food will be available for purchase from various food trucks at the event.
Parking
Additional parking is available at West Medicine Lake Park, 1920 W. Medicine Lake Drive. Park and walk or bike 2 miles on the path that connects West Medicine Lake and East Medicine Lake Parks. Signage will be posted along the path to guide attendees to the event.
