Jan. 4 Update: Fire & Ice canceled due to unsafe ice conditions
Due to unsafe ice conditions, the 2024 Fire & Ice winter festival has been canceled. Unseasonably warm winter temperatures have not allowed for the necessary ice to support the event on Parkers Lake.
The Fire & Ice Medallion Hunt (set to begin Thursday, Jan. 4) and the Coloring Contest (set to begin Monday, Jan. 8) will be held as planned. Learn more at plymouthmn.gov/fireandice.
Fire & Ice, Plymouth’s 35th-annual winter festival, is set for 3-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3 at Parkers Lake Park, at County Road 6 and Niagara Lane.
The free event offers winter activities that celebrate the best of the bold north, including ice games, recycle bin races, box hockey, ice skating, food trucks, bonfire pits and more.
