The City of Plymouth is set to hold the annual Kids Fest event 5-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17 at the Hilde Performance Center, 3500 Plymouth Blvd.
A summer carnival with a splash of learning, Kids Fest features inflatables, games and entertainment held on the Hilde stage and surrounding lawn. The event is free and open to the public.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase from food trucks at the event. Please do not bring alcohol to this event.
Games and Activities
Event activities and attractions include a STEM Zone, Fine Art Zone, carnival games, petting zoo, face painting, wacky hair, balloons, inflatables, bounce houses and more.
Free Entertainment
Entertainment is as follows:
- 5:30 p.m. – Laura Ernst Variety Show (Hilde Main Stage)
- 6 p.m. – Hasse Family Petting Zoo
- 6:20 p.m. – Stilt Walking
- 6:30 p.m. – University of Minnesota Raptor Center Program (Hilde Small Stage)
- 6:30 p.m. – Dazzlin’ Dave National Yo-Yo Master Strolling Entertainment
- 7:30 p.m. – Laura Ernst Variety Show (Hilde Main Stage)
Note: The University of Minnesota Raptor Center Program will not be in attendance at Kids Fest due to illness.
