The Plymouth Fire Service, established in 1960, fire suppression, technical rescue, hazardous materials response and public education programs. Services are provided through a staffed station (duty crew) program and a traditional page-out system, which operate out of three strategically located fire stations.
Each year, the Plymouth Fire Service responds to more than 1,400 calls, including all types of fires, emergencies, traffic crashes, and medical and mutual aid calls to other communities. Fire personnel receive more than 7,000 combined hours of training each year.
The mission of the Plymouth Fire Service – making a difference through emergency response, customer service, and community education – is accomplished through professionally delivered response, customer service and community outreach programs.
