It's Easy to Go to the U of M from Plymouth
Simply hop on one of the many Plymouth Metrolink bus routes that whisk you to downtown Minneapolis. Plymouth Metrolink routes 772, 776, 777, 790, and 793 all bring you downtown. Check the links above to determine which route is most convenient for you.
Plymouth Metrolink drops off its passengers along 2nd Avenue. To get to the East Bank at the University of Minnesota, simply get off the bus at 5th Street and walk one block to 4th Street and get on Metro Transit Route 16. This will take you to the East Bank at the University of Minnesota.
There is no additional cost when you transfer from Plymouth Metrolink to another regional bus line. If you have paid in cash or with a stored value card on Plymouth Metrolink, ask your driver for a transfer. If you have used the U-Pass or Go-To card, you do not need the transfer because your card remembers that you have already paid for the trip.
