Express Routes (Fixed Route Fares)

*Persons with Disabilities

To qualify, show your Metro Mobility card or transfer, Metro Transit temporary ID with a photo ID or Minnesota driver's license/state ID with an "A" or "L" endorsement. For information on certification, call Customer Relations at 612-373-3333.  

Children

Ages 5 and under ride free (limit 3) when accompanied by a paid fare.

Downtown Zone

The fare for rides within the Minneapolis or St. Paul Downtown Zones is 50 cents at all times. Transfers are not available with Downtown Zone fares.

Young Adults

Students and workers age 13-17 may qualify for a discounted Young Adult Card -- contact your school or employer.

Disabled Veterans

Disabled veterans ride free by showing a Veterans Identification Card issued by a VA Medical Center with the words "Service Connected" or "SC" below the photo. Call 612-467-1991 or visit the VA website for details.

How to Pay Your Fare

Cash
Put bills, coins or tokens in the fare box. Change is not available. If you need to change buses or transfer to a train, ask for a transfer.

Go-To-Card
Insert in reader. $6 for 24 hours.

SuperSaver 31-Day Pass and Stored Value Card
Insert it in the reader. These passes are not valid on the Northstar Rail.

Stored Value Card
Insert it in the reader.

Dial-A-Ride Fares
The City of Plymouth establishes the Plymouth Metrolink Dial-A-Ride fare.

One-Way Fare
$3 per one-way trip
You may purchase Plymouth Metrolink Dial-A-Ride punch cards for $30, good for ten rides. The punch cards are available from your Plymouth Metrolink Dial-A-Ride driver or at the cashier's desk at Plymouth City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, MN  55447-1482.
