Apply Now: Serve on City Committees and Commissions
Get involved in the decision-making process and make an impact in the community – the City of Plymouth is seeking applications from residents interested in volunteering to serve on various committees and commissions that advise the City Council on topics such as the environment, housing, parks and recreation, and development.
Applications will be accepted through 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8. The City Council will interview applicants and make appointments later this year for terms beginning in early 2025. Advisory boards that have openings include the Planning Commission, the Environmental Quality Committee, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority, and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission.

Several resident groups advise the City Council on a variety of issues.
Residents interested in applying should read the information for applicants (PDF) and committee and commission write ups (PDF).
Please note that committee and commission seat vacancies are typically filled in the last quarter of each year. However, some seats may open throughout the year with opportunities to apply.
